Cipher Label Printing for Oracle

Control Print Services

Each Cipher instance can be configured with one or many print services. A print service maps to an incoming XML label request directory. When deployed with Oracle’s WMS or MSCA, a service would be configured to monitor the label output directory where Oracle places the XML input files. As Oracle can be configured to prefix the XML label files with an organization code, Cipher can also be configured to monitor a directory for just those prefixed files. In this case, you could configure a print service for each location and control printing by organization.

Cipher can accept input from any application that can generate a file. For example, if you have a forms customization, or concurrent program that prints labels, you would simply create a Cipher service to monitor the directory where your application writes XML label files.
